How to do it
The Campus France procedure guarantees neither admission nor a visa: do not pin all your hopes on a single programme.
- 1Start with Campus France's free information sessions at the Institut français du Cameroun (Yaoundé or Douala), in person or online.
- 2Browse the course catalogue on etudesenfrance.diplomatie.gouv.fr and shortlist programmes that fit your background and career plans.
- 3Check which route each programme uses: Études en France for L1, licence, master and engineering schools; Parcoursup for BTS, CPGE and DCG; campusart.org for art, design, music, fashion and 3D.
- 4Note your deadline for your level: 15/12/2026 for L1 and architecture schools, 01/02/2027 for other Études en France programmes.
- 5If you are aiming for a work-study programme (alternance), go through Mbeng's alternance branch before you finalise your choices.
- 6If you are still unsure, book an appointment with Campus France's information and guidance centre (CIO) at the Institut français du Cameroun.
What you need
- Your recent school reports and transcripts
- Your diplomas or certificates of success
- An up-to-date CV
Tips
- Choose programmes that follow on from your studies so far: the coherence of your project is assessed throughout the procedure.
- Even with an admission obtained outside Études en France (Parcoursup, campusart.org), you still have to go through the Campus France procedure before applying for your visa.
- Also check the websites of the institutions you like regularly: some have additional application steps.
