How to do it
Only use passcam.cm: fake pre-enrolment sites take the money without any appointment.
- 1Check your passport's expiry date: it must stay valid at least 3 months after your visa ends, with 2 blank pages and less than 10 years old. If it does, this step is done.
- 2Otherwise, go to passcam.cm, the only official site, choose "Start your pre-enrolment" and confirm your phone number or email with the code you receive.
- 3Fill in the "New application" form, pay 110,000 FCFA (Mobile Money, Orange Money, Express Union, Yoomee, Yup or card), then choose your enrolment centre and date.
- 4Print the PDF form you receive and go on the chosen day with your certified copies and the originals: photo, fingerprints and signature are taken there.
- 5The passport is produced within 48 hours if nothing is rejected; you are notified by SMS or email and collect it at the same centre.
What you need
- The printed pre-enrolment form (receipt)
- Certified copy of your birth certificate, and the original
- Certified copy of your ID card (CNI), and the original
- Proof of occupation if any (school or university certificate for a student)
- Under 21: parental authorisation and a certified copy of a parent's or guardian's ID card
- Renewal: copy of the old passport, or a loss or theft declaration
Tips
- Do it now, even before applying: you need the passport for the visa, and it is better to have time to spare.
- Copies of certificates are certified at the town hall, sub-prefecture or prefecture; the ID card copy at a police service.
- You can change your enrolment date only once, and resume an interrupted pre-enrolment where you saved it.
- According to the press, a tax compliance certificate has been required for passports since January 2026, with no official text published. Students with no income are not asked for it; if you already have an income, get it on impots.cm so you are not held up.
